PURPOSE: A method and device for frequency domain reading head is provided to enhance the capabilities of servo loop inside information storage devices. Especially, frequency response and linearity table of a servo loop is enhanced by the method and device. CONSTITUTION: A method and device for frequency domain reading head includes the following components. A servo head(46) is set so as to decide frequency response(80) of a servo loop(46). A compensatory gain(79) is connected with a frequency response(80) of a servo loop(28). A compensatory gain(79) is decided by the frequency response(80) on the target response. The device is equipped with servo loop(46) and disk driver with compensatory gain.
