Process for the manufacturing of a glued block of triangular cross-section, elongated staves of wood where the staves for forming a block are laid beside each other with alternate staves with their base sides downwards and apex edges upwards and alternate ones with their base sides upwards and apex edges downwards, and glue applied between adjacent surfaces between the staves, characterized by locking the staves side by side between sides supports; exerting the main pressure force to glue the staves firmly together is transverse to the base sides of the staves by movement of a common pressure plate.
