METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TAILORING CONTENTS OF WEB PAGE

PURPOSE: A system and method for tailoring the web page is provided to make it easy tailoring the HTML web page by use of a XML based contents tailor tool, and displaying the XML and HTML web page in a current web page on an extended computing apparatus having a smaller display and limited computing functions. CONSTITUTION: A web page tailor method comprises steps of a client system such as an extended computing system requesting a web page to a server(100), converting HTML web page into XML one on the requested web page by parsing a selected part of the HTML page and reconstructing the it with the XML type(200), masking the web page which can not be converted into XML or requested to be tailored(300), modifying the converted XML part to display on the client by using more than one XML content tailor tool(400), converting the modified XML page into the HTML one(500), releasing the masking of the HTML web page(600), and transmitting the tailored web page to the client(700).
