METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DEMODULATING MODULATED RF SIGNALS

PURPOSE: There is provided an apparatus for demodulating RF signals modulated on the basis of four-port receiver, which is suitable for modulation of a limited number of signals having different magnitudes. CONSTITUTION: A demodulator for demodulating a modulated RF signal has a passive 4-port receiver(1). The 4-port structure includes a first input terminal(3) for supplying the modulated RF signal to be demodulated. The RF signal is applied to a second input terminal(2) from a local oscillator(21). Two output terminals are connected to power sensors(4,5). The RF signal generated by the local oscillator is applied to the second input terminal of the 4-port structure without being subjected to RF switching by an RF switch.
