PURPOSE: A spin valve type magneto-to-resistance effect component and a method for manufacturing thereof are to provide a magneto-to-resistance effect component capable of suppressing a barkhausen noise and injecting a superior exchangeable anisotropic magnetic field and a thin film magnetic head provided with the component. CONSTITUTION: On a lower gap layer(164), a coercive force increment layer(1), a fixed magnetic layer(2), a non-magnetic conductive layer(3), a free magnetic layer(4) and a protective layer(5) are accumulated in sequence to form an accumulated body(6). The fixed magnetic layer(2) is divided into a first non-fixed magnetic layer(11) of the coercive force increment layer(1) and a second non-fixed magnetic layer(12) of the non-magnetic conductive layer(3) by filling a non-magnetic intermediate layer(10). The free magnetic layer(4) consists of a first free layer(13) formed of Co films and a second free layer(14) formed of NiFe alloy, CoFe alloy or CoNiFe alloy.
