The audience forecast technique has media programmes for which a score has been found by another technique. A number of broadcast media receivers are set up at the same location (10-17) each for a consumer. Each receiver has a measurement receiver (20-27) connected to the receiver, recording the time of matching a channel and retransmitting it to a storage unit. The information is processed and used to derive a statistical audience forecast, moderating the information forecast received from other sources.
