A composition that can be applied to surfaces and animal tails to prevent chewing of said surfaces and tails. The composition comprises petrolatum, cayenne pepper, chilli powder and denatonium benzoate NF. The composition ay be liquefied by heating to allow application by means of a brush or rag.
