A cosmetic composition free of added fatty alcohol and castor oil wax comprising: a) an active cosmetic material selected from deodorant active materials, and antiperspirant materials in an amount to give sufficient effect b) at least one volatile silicone material; c) at least one linear chain silicone material; d) at least one gelling agent in an amount sufficient to form a cream, soft solid or semi-solid composition where the gelling agent includes hexanediol-behenyl beeswax. Further disclosed is a packaged composition where the top surface has holes therein through which the composition is extruded from a reservoir in the container onto the top surface.
