PURPOSE: Provided are novel benzenesulfonamide derivatives which have both of thromboxane A2 and leukotriene D4 antagonistic activities, and are useful as active ingredients of medicaments such as platelet aggregation inhibitors, antithrombotic agents, antiasthmatic agents, and antiallergic agents. CONSTITUTION: Novel benzenesulfonamide derivatives are represented by the following general formula (I) are provided: wherein R¬1 represents hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxyl group, or nitro group; R¬2 represents a C4-C8 alkyl group which is substituted with one or more fluorine atoms; R¬3 represents hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group; X represents sulfur atom or a group represented by CH=CH; and n represents an integer of from 2 to 4. Medicaments comprising said compound as an active ingredient can be used for preventive and/or therapeutic treatment of thrombosis, asthma, or allergic diseases.
