The procedure consists of making each half of a pair of scissors in three separate modules - a blade module (3), a branch module (5) and a ring module (7) - which are assembled and fitted to a second half. The blade module is cut from a metal bar; its end (32) is drilled to receive the rods (13) of the branch module, and the free ends (17) of the latter are fixed into holes (11) in the ring module by stamping or screwing.
