PURPOSE: An equipment for the fastening of guide rollers of an escalator step or a moving walkway plate is provided to simplify manufacturing procedure and reduce cost. CONSTITUTION: An equipment for the fastening of guide rollers of an escalator step or a moving walkway plate includes followings. A primary fixer(5) is provided to support a transfer chain to the end of the upper supporting unit. A secondary fixer(6) is provided to the end of the lower supporting unit Each supporting unit(4) is arranged on both sides at the lower part of an escalator step(1). The secondary fixer(6) is composed of a bearing pin(8) with a bore(9) and a cantilever arm(7) integrated with the escalator step(1). The escalator step(1), the cantilever arm(7), the bearing pin(8) and the bore(9) are mono casting. A bearing(11) can be inserted into the bearing pin(8). For reducing screw cutting procedure, a self-tapping screw(13) with a plate-shape hole is used to fix the bearing(11). When fixing the screw(13), a washer(14) placed under the screw(13) presses the internal ring(12) of the bearing(11). and the bearing(11) is precisely placed and supported by the washer(14) against a shoulder(10). |
