The actuator assembly of Belleville washers (14), which prestress the actuator, and the actuator (10) are housed in a common jacket (11) which transmits the force exerted by the washers to the valve side of the actuator. The washer section of the jacket has a diameter matching the washer diameter whilst the actuator section matches the smaller diameter of the actuator.
