Compounds having therapeutic utility, as inhibitors of PDE and TNF, are of formula (i) wherein R1 is alkyl optionally substituted with one or more halogens; R2 is a carboxylate, carboxamide, sulfinyl or sulfonyl group; R3, R4 and R6 are each H or alkyl; R5 is optionally substituted aryl or heteroaryl; and X is O or S.
