<p>A niobium powder for capacitors having the contents of iron, nickel, cobalt, silicon, sodium, potassium, and magnesium are all less than 100 mass ppm or having a total content of the elements is less than 350 mass ppm. A sintered body thereof, a niobium sintered body containing niobium monoxide crystals and/or dinioubium mononitride crystals, a capacitor comprised of any one of the sintered bodies, and a method for manufacturing the capacitor are also disclosed. The capacitor comprised of the niobium sintered body has a large capacity per unit mass, excellent specific leak current characteristics, and excellent high-temperature characteristics.</p> |
