A device for transporting an electrical substrate (1), in which the substrates can be placed with their long edges on to paired circulating belts (5), the belts are driven via deflection rollers (4) which have lateral guide webs (6) for the belts (5). The belts (5) have at least one under-cut on the sides facing one another, the under-cuts serving to narrow the belts (5) towards one inner face and with the associated guide webs (6) gripping into the under-cuts. The outer face of the belt (5) radially and transversely extends over the guide webs (6).
