The vehicle headrest (14) is adjustably mounted. An electric motor (18) in the base has a cable (26) for pulling in the pillow part, and with a reversing- and time switch (28 and 30). A sprung winder (34) is provided for the cable during reversed rotation of the electric motor. The rest is mounted on telescopic supports (22,24).
