A hollow sleeve(2) is fitted in a tube(P) in the auxiliary frame, and a pair of U-form fittings(3) are fitted on the tube so that they are retained by the sleeve when located in a fitting hole(1a) in the tube. A bolt(4) connects the auxiliary frame to the body of the vehicle. The U-form fittings are fitted on the tube so that a base section of each fitting in side view is parallel to a auxiliary frame assembly face(5a) on the body of the vehicle and allows fitting of the bolt. The fittings are then fixed to the tube by their side protruding sections(3b).
