<p>The invention relates to a water faucet for a sanitary tank exhibiting simple features due to the fact that it can be easily installed and used and can be economically maintained. Said faucet also comprises a novel structure in which a tank valve is adapted and operates in two movements: it is opened before being used and closed after utilization. By actuating the lever to open the water passage and then by closing or moving the lever, the discharge valve and the float operate perfectly, which is transparent for the user. The faucet according to the invention radically puts an end to the persistent and costly water leaks in sanitary fittings and consequently has a positive social impact. It is not surpassed by existing valve systems used for this purpose since they operate on the basis of water pressure and do not control the discharge valve, amongst other disadvantages. Traditional systems depend on water pressure in the water supply system and in the interior of the tank. The inventive faucet for sanitary tanks puts an end to said dependence and the user is assured that no water leaks will occur.</p> |
