<p>A continuous production method for a thermoplastic polymer sheet excellent in surface smoothness and small in planar retardation, that is, small in optical phase difference and in warpage, wherein a thermoplastic polymer sheet molten-extruded from a T-die or coat hanger die is formed into a cooled sheet by using a metal belt having a maximum surface roughness (Rmax) of up to 0.1 νm and a length for permitting at least 20-second, curvature-free contact in a feeding direction of the thermoplastic polymer sheet extruded from the die.</p> |
