The interior module for a railway vehicle comprises L-shaped, prefabricated segments (2), whose longer lengths (5) form a side wall system, and whose shorter lengths (3) form, at least partially, a floor. The segments correspond in their length to one or several window divisions. The segments carry pre-assembled elements (7, 9, 11) before their import into the carriage box.
