<p>A parking brake for transport carriage is described. It is especially characterized by an outer cylindrical casing (3) fastened to the transport carriage, in relationship to which casing an inner, preferably circular cylindrical pipe (3) is axially movable. This pipe is at its lower part connected to an elastic element (10), and the pipe is connected to an outer means for handling (4), especilly a pedal, for axial movement in relationship to the outer casing. This is provided with at least one guide element (14), which is arranged to guide the means for handling (4) such that when this is turned, the pipe (3) is brought to move axially out from the casing, such that the elastic element (10) is pressed against a substratum, braking the transport carriage.</p> |
