The apparatus comprising: a generally tubular mandrel (154); a slip (152) carried on the mandrel (154); and first and second circumferential debris barriers (160, 164) disposed relative to the slip (152), the first and second debris barriers (160, 162) being radially outwardly extended when the slip (152) is radially outwardly extended relative to the mandrel (154).
