The apparatus comprises a lever(5) with a force point at one end, connected by a pin(4) mounted close to the outside of a disc(3) fixed to a motor(1), a fulcrum(6a) in a regulator(6), an action point regulator(7) with pin and roller at the other end of the lever forms contact with plates(7c,7d) fixed inside the skirt of a piston(8) reciprocating in a cylinder(9). The action point regulator is adjustable for position to vary the length of stoke of the reciprocating end of the lever. A hole, perpendicular to its axis of rotation, through which the lever passes allows the lever to slide as the lever reciprocates and motion is converted. |
