A method of manufacturing a pipe type ball-point pen tip (10) wherein the dimensions of not only a ball receiving seat but also an ink hole (40) are kept at constants by cutting, comprising the steps of cutting the inner wall of a pipe steel material (11) to a finish diameter (D1) of the ink hole (40) so as to eliminate the dispersion of the ink hole (40) due to an error of the pipe steel material (11), drilling a channel (50), and cutting the ink holes (40) with a drill having a diameter (D2) smaller slightly than the finish diameter (D1) so as to remove burrs (51) produced by the drilling of the channel (50).
