The compressor has a pressure bearing (26) in the cylinder block (2) to receive the compression reaction force exerted on the shaft (6) by the pistons (9) and the swashplate (7). This prevents the axial vibrations from the internal mechanism of the compressor being transmitted to the front casing and the electromagnetic coupling attached to it.
