A hard disk is connected to an NC machine, and a data base containing information for each product required to manufacture the products are stored in the hard disk. In this data base, a product is designated by the number attached thereto. When the operator designates the product number, the information required to manufacture the product is retrieved from the data base, and then transferred automatically to a predetermined memory in the NC machine.
