A unit is used for interpreting reception quality and assigned memories in which the reception quality values for selected reception frequency with antenna/tuner combination are stored. A multi-path detector initiates a control signal for selecting new antenna/tuner combination for determined changes in the reception signal for the direct change over to another setting.
