The nose minute ring (1) has an outer circumferential surface against the cylinder wall running out into a sharp nose edge (4) and a running surface edge (3). The outer circumferential surface (2)is spherical, at least in a part region, so that the nose edge, when built in, is set back to a certain extent radially from the cylinder wall.
