Saw frame (1) is based on two parallel plates (19) carrying in bearings at either end flywheel-type pulley (16, 17), drive-motor (20, 21) and reduction gear (16a, 17a). Saw-band (18) passes over pulley and its tension can be varied using adjuster (22) on bearing of pulley (16). Straightening guides (23a, 23b) are provided on either side of cutting zone, and, at one pulley, swarf remover (24). Whole assembly can be raised and lowered on guide column (2) integrated with fixed base (3) constituted by upright (4, 5, 10) and transverse members (6), to which side-plates (7, 8, 9) are attached, forming box into which concrete is poured. |
