The present invention provides novel pyridazin-3-one derivatives of general formula (1): wherein R1 is haloalkyl; R2 and R3 are independently hydrogen, alkl, haloalkyl, or alkoxyalkyl; X is hydrogen or halogen; Y is halogen, nitro, cyano, or trihalomethyl; Z1 is oxygen, sulfur, CH2, or NH; R4 is hydrogen, halogen, or alkyl; and R5 is cycoalkyl, formyl, benzyl, alkyl with an epoxy group, or other substituents as defined in the description, and herbicides containing them as active ingredients.
