PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly place the liquid in a container in a high-temperature or low-temperature state. SOLUTION: Of a heating and cooling device installed in the automatic vending machine, the heating part 21 and cooling part 22 are each provided with a receiving cup 23, and a vibrator 33 is connected to its reverse surface. The outer peripheral surface of the receiving cup 23 of the heating part 21 is wound with a coil 36 for induction heating and the jet hole of a nozzle 37 connected to a liquid nitrogen cylinder is directed to the outer peripheral surface of the receiving cup 23 of the cooling part 22. Then the can body of canned drink 11 put in the receiving cup 23 while heated or cooled is supplied with an ultrasonic wave by driving the vibrator 33 to accelerate heat conduction, so that the liquid in the can body quickly enters a high-tempreature or low- temperature state.
