PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct highly accurate transmission power control or the like by estimating a propagation path with high accuracy on the basis of a reception signal in a mobile communication system employing the time division duplex TDD system. SOLUTION: In the case that a fading frequency of a mobile station is high, an up channel temporally closer to a channel with constant transmission power (down link) is assigned to its up link. Thus, an increased interval between reception and transmission is avoided so as to avoid remarkable degradation in the precision of transmission power control. When the fading frequency is small, even when the interval between reception and transmission is larger, since the precision of transmission power control is not much degraded, an up channel temporally remote from a channel with constant transmission power is assigned to its up link. Thus, when a channel assignment request from other mobile station with a large fading frequency is received, an up channel closer temporally to a channel with constant transmission power is assigned to its up link so as to increase precision of transmission power control for a mobile station. |
