PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material high in sensitivity and superior in graininess and yet high in sensitization and desensitization aptitude and stable against fluctuation of development conditions. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material is provided on one side of a transparent support with photosensitive constituent layers comprising each at least one of red-, green-, and blue-sensitive layer and nonphotosensitive layer, and the distribution of the number of silver halide grains in at least one of the constituent layers has double peaks in a relation of grain diameter to the number of grains, and the distance between the peaks is >=0.3μm and the peak of grain diameter distribution of the smaller grain side lies in <=0.2μm.
