摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power consumption that is fatal requirement for a portable telephone set by considering that no duplicate notice by a lighting section is required when a display section visible in the portable telephone set adopting the foldable display section. SOLUTION: The portable telephone set is provided with a display section 14, a transmission section 21 that has a foldable mechanism of the display section 14, and a control circuit 11 that allows noticing by a lighting section 17 when an opening/closing detection section 18 detects that the transmission section 21 closes the display section 14 and inhibits the notice by the lighting section 17 when the opening/closing detection section 18 detects that the display section 14 is not closed with the transmission section 21.
