VIDEO DISPLAY METHOD IN THREE DIMENSIONAL COOPERATIVE VIRTUAL SPACE AND STORAGE MEDIUM RECORDING ITS PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video image display method where a plurality of users can view a real time video image of an object at a remote place from a preferred direction and position in a three dimensional cooperative virtual space at the same time and the users can easily understand at which position and in which direction the video image is photographed. SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of users at remote places builds up a three dimensional cooperative virtual space in which an alter ego 13 expressed in a computer graphics can be operated on each computer terminal interconnected by a network and shares the space in common. A virtual camera 12 simulating a video camera is displayed in the three dimensional cooperative virtual space at a similar position to a relative position between a video camera in a real space and a photographing object in real time and a color of its locus 15A is changed as time elapses. A video image photographed from a relative position corresponding to an overlapped position between the user's alter ego 13 and the locus 15A of the video camera is displayed on the computer terminal of the user.
