PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an ink jet recording medium of good carrying properties for forming a good image not generating the defective carriage caused by the adhesion of an adhesive mass and also not generating fouls and dislocations of an image. SOLUTION: An ink jet recording medium 1 is provided with at least an ink acceptive layer 3 on one face of a base and an adhesive layer 5 and a release sheet 6 formed on the opposite side, and the medium 1 to be recorded is cut by a laser processing means, and cut sections are heat treated. In a manufacturing method for an ink jet medium to be recorded provided with at least the ink acceptive layer on one face of the base, the ink jet medium 1 to be recorded, which is provided with at least the ink acceptive layer on one face of the base and the adhesive layer 5 and the release sheet 6 formed on the opposite face, is cut, the cutting by the laser processing means and the heat treatment of the cut sections are carried out simultaneously. |
