PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially eliminate the leakage of a magnetic flux to the outside from a generator permanent magnet in a diskette, such as a 3.5" floppy diskette or the like, in which a permanent magnet generator and a space used to insert a memory card are provided side by side. SOLUTION: In this diskette, a generator 2 having a rotor permanent magnet and a space, which is used to insert a memory card, are provided side by side. An opening 21 in which a rotor is situated is opened in the center of the rear plate 12 on the side of the generator of a diskette case. A magnetic shield ring plate 241, whose outside diameter is substantially identical to or a slightly larger than that of the permanent magnet, is pasted on the upper-side end face of a rotor permanent magnet 212. The height of the magnetic shield ring plate 241 is made nearly identical to that of the rear plate 12. With this structure, excess space is eliminated between the generator and the diskette case, the diskette can be made thin, and the leakage of a magnetic flux to the outside can be practically eliminated. |
