PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle brake controller controlling a braking force of a vehicle on the basis of a proper target deceleration matching a vehicle driving condition. SOLUTION: A brake controller is provided with a reference target G computing unit 74 computing a reference target deceleration from a brake pedal operating condition, a driving state running environment detecting unit 76 detecting a vehicle driving state running environment, a target G correcting unit 78 computing a correction quantity of the reference target deceleration in compliance with the driving state running environment, and a control target deceleration computing unit computing a control target deceleration on the basis of the reference target deceleration and the correction quantity. In this way, a vehicle braking force is controlled on the basis of the control target deceleration.
