PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the capacities of an air conditioner and a refrigerating machine from becoming too large in a super market, etc. SOLUTION: A cooling system is provided with a refrigerating system constituted by connecting a plurality of showcases 5 to a refrigerating machine 1 through a refrigerant pipeline 3 and an air-conditioning system which is constituted by connecting indoor machines 25 to an air conditioner 21 through a refrigerant pipeline 23 and can be operated for cooling and heating. The capacity of the air conditioner 21 is set so that the air conditioner 21 may have surplus power at cooling time and the surplus power may be utilized as the auxiliary heat source 41 of the refrigerating machine 1.
