PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a water pumping device to be transported to, and installed at, a site with only manpower by mounting a underwater motor pump unit detachably on a wheel axle, while providing a float and a handle so that the pump unit can be suspended, underwater with the float floating on a water surface. SOLUTION: An underwater motor pump unit comprising an underwater motor 2 and a pump 1 is mounted detachably on an axle supported by a pair of wheels 5. A handle is secured to a pair of stays fixed on both sides of the pump 1. This water pumping device is transported to a bank or other site near an underwater installation point by a human worker who holds onto the handle. A float suspension ring 17 that can be opened and closed is then used to mount a float 10 to a float mounting collar 7 of the underwater motor pump. Further, a rope 12 for underwater installation is attached to a hook provided on the transportation handle before the device is placed into the water. Since the underwater motor pump is mounted on the axle according to this construction, the device can be manually transported and installed on-site with ease.
