PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify the location of a rail fastening device with high reliability. SOLUTION: Looseness quantities of rail fastening devices 16 fixing a rail 18 to crossties 17 are continuously measured, and the rail fastening devices 16 of the prescribed type are specified among the rail fastening devices 16 of various types for a looseness inspection. This inspecting system is provided with identification marks 63 provided at the front and rear ends of a detection prohibited zone arranged with the rail fastening devices 16 of the types other than the prescribed type, a carriage 3 capable of traveling on the rail 18, and an information processor main body 5 which is provided on the carriage 3, measures the looseness quantities of the rail fastening devices 16, judges whether the travel zone is the detection prohibited zone or not by detecting the identification marks 63, and makes the looseness inspection of the rail fastening devices 16 of the prescribed type based on the looseness quantities measured in the zone other than the detection prohibited zone.
