PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which the liquid crystal injection time can be shortened without increasing injection ports and which contributes to screen enlargement and to high picture quality. SOLUTION: An injection groove 4 is formed by removing a transparent acrylic resin interlayer insulating film 3, placed between thin film transistors and wiring pattern to drive them on the lower side glass substrate 2 and display pixel electrodes, so as to stand in line with an injection port 35 on a rectangular frame 34 made of a sealing resin to enclose a liquid crystal. Another injection groove 6 is formed by removing a flattening film 5 of a surface of a color filter 7 on the upper side glass substrate 1 so as to similarly stand in line with the injection port 35. Thereby a cross-sectional area of the liquid crystal injection port is increased. |
