SOLUTION: The sample support jig 1 attached to an X-ray analysis sample holder for holding a sample S1 to be analyzed by an X-ray analyzer in a freely detachable manner is equipped with a sampling cup (bottomed cylindrical main body) 3, one or more rod-shaped support member 2 erected on the bottom wall 3a of the sampling cup 3 to support the sample S1 on the leading end surface 2a thereof, and the film 4 covering the opening part 3d of the sampling cup 3 to support the sample S1 between the film 4 and the support member 2.
