摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit influence on a clutch characteristic and a clutch responsiveness of an electromagnetic clutch caused by an air gap by making the air gap between a friction clutch abutting surface of a rear cover 11b, i.e., a magnetic path forming member of the electromagnetic clutch and a clutch plate smaller. SOLUTION: A rear cover 11b, i.e., a magnetic path forming member is constituted of bodies 11b1, 11b2 made of a magnetic substance, and a cylindrical body 11b3 made of a nonmagnetic substance which is engaged and welded to the bodies 11b1, 11b2 at a radially intermediate portion. A welded portion 11f at the tip end at a friction clutch side with respect to the bodies 11b1, 11b2 of the cylindrical body 11b3 is positioned at a position, where it is retreated from an abutting surface 11d of the bodies 11b1, 11b2. The welded portion 11f is not involved with a friction clutch abutting surface.</p>
