<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an instrument for detecting a visual axis with the simple constitution. SOLUTION: A user is images by a camera 1, and a visual axis detecting part 3 judges whether or not the light irradiated from a monitor 5 is reflected on an iris part of an eye of the user to detect that a visual axis of the user turns in the direction of the monitor 5 when the irradiating light from the monitor 5 is reflected on the iris part. The visual axis detecting part 3 detects that the visual axis of the user turns in the direction other than the monitor 5 when the light irradiated from the monitor 5 is not reflected on the iris part of the eye of the user.</p> |
