摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the flow shortage to a power steering device in switching from an energy-saving mode to a general mode by providing such a structure as to supply a fixed flow to the power steering device through a bypass passage in addition to the flow through a control orifice in the energy-saving mode with a low load pressure of the power steering device. SOLUTION: A main spool 7 is fitted to a spool hole 6 to form a variable orifice V by a rod 8 fixed to one end of the main spool 7, and a piston 11 is fitted into a sleeve 9, so that the main spool 7 is displaced by the thrust accompanying the pressure receiving area difference. In such a flow control valve, a bypass port 30 is formed on a valve body 1, and the port 30 is connected to a pump P through a bypass passage 31. First and second orifices 32, 33 are formed on the sleeve 9, so that the bypass passage 31 and a pilot passage 22 are allowed to communicate each other through both the orifices 32, 33 in an energy-saving mode, and the communication is interrupted by the piston 11 in a general mode.
