PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printer in which the shift of processing positions generated by the deflection and elongation of a master is eliminated, carrying out the whole printing in a short time and performing the good printing. SOLUTION: A stencil printer is provided with a plate cylinder 1 with a master engaging means 50 engaging the end B of a master 9 and rotated in the master winding direction by a driving means 22, a processing means 30 for processing the master 9 in compliance with image information and carrying means 10 and 12 for carrying the master 9 to the plate cylinder 1, and also provided with release means 65 and 70 for releasing the carrying force to the master 9 by the release means 10 and 12 and a control means for releasing the release means 65 and 70 after the completion of processing the master 9 and driving the driving means 22. |
