<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both a three-dimensional antigen for producing a neutralizing antibody, capable of neutralizing a second receptor which an AIDS pathogenic virus (HIV-1 virus) uses in human infection, in vivo and an AIDS vaccine comprising the antigen as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This cyclic peptide contains a constituent chain obtained by connecting one or more peptides selected from a peptide containing Glu-Ala-Asp- Asp-Arg or a peptide containing Ser-Glu-Lys-Glu-Gly. This AIDS vaccine contains the cyclic peptide as an active ingredient. Preferably the cyclic peptide is a cyclic dodecapeptide of the formula and the AIDS vaccine contains the cyclic dodecapeptide as an active ingredient. Preferably an active group selected from a carboxyl group, an amino group and a hydroxyl group contained in the cyclic peptide is bonded to a substituted group in terms of absorption in vivo and antibody expression.</p> |
