PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid-tight planting structure of a terminal metal fixture to an insulating board and a method of planting, by fluid-tightly planting a conducting terminal like a hermetically sealed type capacitor on an insulating member. SOLUTION: A trench 3, continuously connected with a hole 2 which penetrates a hard insulating board 1 formed by plastic molding, is shaved and formed on one surface of the insulating board 1. A terminal metal fixture 5 which is formed of spreading metal and has a protruding part 4 is inserted in the hole 2, and a rubber ring 6 is inserted and arranged in the terminal metal fixture 5 protruded from the other surface side of the insulating board 1. Peripheral edge parts 7A of a protruding part 7 for caulking of the terminal metal fixture 5 which protrudes from each surface of the insulating board 1 are pressed, shaved, wrenched and spread in the insulating board direction, with a hole edge of a pressing die 9, having a vertical hole 8 which is one size smaller than planar contours of the respective peripheral edge parts, and two flange parts 10 are formed. The flange part 10 on one surface side of the insulating board 1 from among the respective flange parts 10 forms a protruding part 11, which is forcibly brought into contact with the insulating board surface and penetrate into the trench 3. The rubber ring 6 is tightly and brought firmly into contact with the other surface of the insulating board 1 with the other flange part 10, to hold the ring water-tight, and the terminal metal fixture 5 is caulked with the insulating board 1.
