PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the laser marking unit which is easily carried, easy to use, and inexpensive and a mechanism for laser irradiating direction adjustment which is made according to a ground mark mainly at the time of factory shipment by easily performing marking switching to a vertical, horizontal, or ceiling direction through manual 90 deg.-rotating operation and enabling three-directional setting-out by one laser irradiation unit. SOLUTION: This unit is equipped with three plane bodies 10, 20, and 30 which are connected vertically to one another and a laser irradiation unit fitted to only one plane body, a water level and an adjusting screw are arranged on the internal surface of each plane body, and an arbitrary plane body is selected and has its external surface adjusted horizontally to the ground surface with a leg fixed to the external surface and the end part of the adjusting screw for use.
